Child Protection

Parents should be aware that the school will take any reasonable action to ensure the safety of its pupils. In cases where the school has reason to be concerned that a child may be subject to ill-treatment, neglect or other forms of abuse, staff have no alternative but to follow Child Protection Procedures and inform Social Services of their concern.

A member of staff and the Head Teacher share the responsibility for child protection as is required by law. We consult with other agencies to ensure that all the children are safe, well supported and looked after.
