Registration for all year groups is 8.40-8.50am. Finish times are as follows:
Nursery : 2.50pm (15 or 30 hours per week)
Reception : 3pm (31 hours, 40 minutes per week)
Year 1 & 2 : 3.10pm (32 hours, 30 minutes per week)
At Cavendish Close Infants we celebrate attendance with the children by awarding certificates, stickers and prizes.
Leave during term-time
The law requires that a school’s headteacher should not grant approval for any leave of absence during term-time, including holidays, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
Parents are not entitled to take their children on holiday in term-time. Such holidays can only be taken with the written approval of the headteacher. Each case will be considered on its own merits and the decision of the headteacher is final. If your child is of statutory school age (5) you may be subject to an Education penalty notice issued by Derby City Council.
