Arrival at School:
We feel that it is important that your child arrives on time in order to set the working tone for the day.
If possible, please do not bring your child to school before their start time as there is no official supervision before this time and, therefore, it is in the interests of safety that children are not on the school premises before this time.
Children arriving late must be taken to the school office to be admitted to school and parents must register their arrival in the electronic sign in service in the foyer.
Mid Morning Break:
The children are provided with a small piece of fruit to eat during the mid-morning break.
Lunch-time:
School Meals:
School Meals are cooked on the premises and served on a cafeteria basis. Usually there is a choice of 2 main dishes, veg and a salad bar followed by pudding or fresh fruit and a glass of milk or water.

Visit the Free School Meals Page for information on free school meals for infants and low income families.
Sandwiches:
If you wish, your child may bring a packed lunch to school, in unbreakable containers please.
At lunchtime the children are supervised by an excellent team of mid-day supervisors led by the learning mentor, who are responsible to the Head teacher. If your child requires a particular diet because of medical reasons please let us know and we will try to accommodate those needs as best we can.
Please do not provide your child with chocolate bars and sweets as part of their packed lunch.
Water in school:
The children are provided with drinking water and their own bottle which they are able to access throughout the day.
Cars:
In the interests of safety you MUST NOT bring your car down the drive to collect and drop off children.
Dogs in School:
Again, in the interests of your child’s health and safety, dogs MUST not be brought on to school premises.
Smoking:
The school site is a designated no smoking area.
